OPERAS.

Thank you for voting to change lives!

We are excited to announce that Arthritis Research Canada’s OPERAS app has won the Arthritis Ideator Award. On April 21, the research team, led by Senior Scientist, Dr. Linda Li, met with a panel of judges and successfully secured $50,000 to further fund this innovative, health-tracking app for people living with rheumatoid arthritis.

Managing a serious disease like rheumatoid arthritis can feel like a full-time job and people do better when they are supported and encouraged in their self-care. OPERAS stands for On-demand Program to EmpoweR Active Self-management. It’s an easy-to-use, web/mobile app designed to help people track their health and see how their symptoms and physical activity levels change over time, along with their treatments.

OPERAS: An app-based program to empower active self-care, capturing information on the go, and providing trends on symptoms, disease activity and treatments.
