Celebrating Philanthropy

Congratulations to NAZ PANAHI as the recipient of the Giving Hearts, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser award

November 23, 2016 – Philanthropy Day celebrates the charitable work of all those who make a difference and create impact in our communities. Arthritis Research Canada is extremely proud to congratulate Naz Panahi as the recipient of the Giving Hearts, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser award.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals, through their Giving Hearts Award program, recognized Ms. Panahi for her philanthropic leadership as the driving force behind the creation of the ARThritis Soiree. In her role as Event Chair, she has done an incredible job of increasing awareness of arthritis and raising funds to the benefit and advancement of arthritis research.

An amazing champion for philanthropy, Ms. Panahi’s leadership as a volunteer fundraiser is truly outstanding. Everyone who has worked with her has been inspired by her dedication, tenacity and immense gratitude to those who join her in making a difference.

“It is so very important to me to leave as much of a positive, sustainable impact in this world as I can during my lifetime” – Naz Panahi

The Giving Hearts Award program was created to acknowledge the true expression of philanthropy. This is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the individuals and organization volunteers, leaders, fundraisers, philanthropists, and youth, that make such a difference in the lives of so many.
