The ARThritis Soirée was created with the knowledge that art adds to one’s wellbeing and is a great element in managing chronic disease on a holistic level. The event brings together those with an appreciation for art and a desire to support arthritis research. Each year, a new art form is introduced and Arthritis Research Canada is thrilled to have the theme of music for the 2018 ARThritis Soirée, presented by an amazing, Juno award-winning Canadian artist.
The ARThritis Soirée is presented as an elegant cocktail reception, allowing guests to circulate and network while enjoying fabulous hors d’oeuvres, champagne and wine, an amazing raffle, exciting live and silent auctions, and of course an unforgettable performance by this year’s musical guest.
Arthritis Research Canada is grateful to have the continued support of City Square Shopping Centre as Presenting Sponsor. Naz Panahi, Vice President of City Square Holdings and Chair of the Arthritis Soirée, believes the Soirée is an excellent opportunity to elevate the level of awareness about arthritis to substantially increase the funding to support research: Panahi says, “With arthritis affecting more than 5.6 million Canadians, we need to continue to raise much needed funds to find answers and save lives through research.”
