Two New Scientists Join Arthritis Research Canada’s Research Team

July 16, 2024 (Vancouver) Arthritis Research Canada is proud to announce that Dr. Hyein Kim and Dr. Deniz Bayraktar (Denislav Orlinov) have joined our research team.

Dr. Hyein Kim joins Arthritis Research Canada as a Clinician Investigator. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of British Columbia. She leads the Scleroderma Clinic at the VCH Mary Pack Arthritis Centre and with respirologists at the Scleroderma-Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital.

“I am delighted to join Arthritis Research Canada as a Clinician Investigator. I look forward to contributing to new discoveries and enhancing care for people affected by systemic sclerosis.”

Dr. Deniz Bayraktar (Denislav Orlinov) is an Affiliate Professor at Izmir Katip Celebi University in Turkey and has recently completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Arthritis Research Canada.
