Erick is managing director and head of RBC GAM’s Canadian Institutional business PH&N Institutional. In this role, he leads the Canadian Institutional business strategy and has accountability and oversight responsibilities over all Institutional client and sales efforts in Canada.
Erick is also a member of the RBC GAM Leadership Committee and its People & Culture Sub-committee; he chairs the Canadian Institutional Management Committee; and he sits on investment committees for both public and private alternative investment strategies.
Prior to 2024, he was a PH&N Institutional portfolio manager and managing director, alternative investments, responsible for leading the development of RBC GAM’s alternative investments platform and solutions. Prior to joining the organization in 2011, Erick led the investment platform at a global private bank in Canada and held senior leadership positions at a Europe-based investment management firm and a London-based hedge fund. He started his career in the investment industry in 1995.
