Biography

Hannah brings over 14 years of experience in fundraising strategy, campaign leadership, and advancement operations across healthcare, higher education, and the non-profit sector. As Director of Development at Arthritis Research Canada, she leads strategic fundraising initiatives that strengthen donor engagement, support innovative research, and drive sustainable philanthropic growth.

Prior to joining Arthritis Research Canada, Hannah served as Director of Development Operations at the BC Cancer Foundation. In this role, she oversaw Campaign & Development Operations, Prospect Research, and Database and Business Intelligence, playing a central role in the Foundation’s $500 million province-wide fundraising campaign. Her work was instrumental in shaping campaign strategy, aligning teams across departments and regions, and modernizing systems and processes to enable long-term growth and impact.

Hannah’s advancement career began at the University of British Columbia, where she spent over a decade in roles across the Faculties of Education and Medicine, as well as in the central Development and Alumni Engagement office. These experiences shaped her collaborative, data-informed leadership style and deep commitment to donor-centred philanthropy.

Known for her strategic thinking, operational insight, and inclusive approach, Hannah is dedicated to advancing organizations through thoughtful, integrated leadership across strategy, systems, and people. Her work supports Arthritis Research Canada’s goal of improving the lives of people living with arthritis through world-class, patient-focused research.
