A Growing Problem

By 2040, the number of Canadians living with arthritis is expected to increase to 9 million. Yet, arthritis research receives only 2% of available research dollars in Canada. Arthritis is misunderstood. People believe it isn’t serious and only affects older adults. In reality, arthritis affects people of all ages and costs the Canadian economy $33 billion/year.
