Coleen has been an award-winning, television news anchor for more than 25 years.

Before joining Global BC in 2017, Coleen anchored for CTV Vancouver and for the CTV network.
Coleen is passionate about the role journalism plays in maintaining democracy.
She has spoken on that topic and on avoiding bias in the media – numerous times.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and raised in Victoria, BC, Coleen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History. When she’s not working or spending time with family and friends – you’ll find her indulging her other passions – cooking and baking.

Fred’s column appears in Vancouver Magazine, Vancouver Boulevard and Province Newspaper. He has been a regular contributor to the CBC, National Post, Vancouver Courier, BC Business, Look Magazine, Living Magazine and TV Week.
Fred, along with fellow CBC colleague Margaret Gallagher, hosted the national CBC Radio One food show Flavour of the Week.
A tireless volunteer, Fred has held numerous roles in various organizations and sits on countless fundraising committees. In addition to hosting a variety of events, and raising millions as an auctioneer, he is a mentor to many and continues to give of his time and expertise to many organizations, including the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, First United Church, and CLICK Foundation. He currently is a board member of Chor Leoni and advisory member for the University of British Columbia’s CampOUT!, a summer leadership camp for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and their allies.
His contributions have been cited in many arenas, including the National Post’s Worthy 30 list. Fred is recipient of an AccolAIDS Award in Philanthropy, Association of Fundraising Professional’s Charity Champion Award , Inductee in the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame as a Friend of the Industry, Arthritis Research Canada and Pacific Family Autism Network’s Champion Awards, Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow Award for Community Service and UBC President’s Award for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Josephine Lee began playing the harp at the age of five and continued with private lessons until she began her studies at the University of Victoria for Performance Harp. She has been a professional Harpist, Wedding Harpist, and harp teacher for over sixteen years.
She performed as the resident Harpist for the Fairmont Hotel in Victoria and in beautiful venues around the Lower Mainland, such as The Chapel at Stanley Park, Minoru Chapel and The Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park.
