Dr. Lihi Eder is a Clinician-Scientist at Women’s College Research Institute and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada. She is the Director of the Psoriatic Arthritis program and co-Director of the Cardio-Rheumatology Program at the University of Toronto and at Women’s College Hospital.
Dr. Eder was awarded the Canada Research Chair in Inflammatory Rheumatic Diseases (Tier 2) for studying the effects of sex and gender as determinants of rheumatic disease outcomes. She has a broad background in rheumatology with specific training and expertise in psoriatic arthritis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and cardio-metabolic diseases in people living with rheumatic diseases. Her research efforts have resulted in over 210 peer-reviewed publications in medical journals, book chapters, and editorials. She is an elected member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) steering committee and co-Chair of the GRAPPA Research Committee. She is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the National Psoriasis Foundation, a Board member of the Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Clinics Multicenter Advancement Network, and immediate past-President, Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society. She received several research awards for her achievements, including an Early Research Award from the Ontario Ministry of Research Innovation and Science in 2018, an Emerging Investigator Award from the Canadian Rheumatology Association in 2023, and a Mid-Career Excellence in Women’s Health Research Award, Partnership for Women’s Health Research Canada in 2025.Learn more
