Gifts of Stock or Securities
Gifts of publicly traded securities may offer substantial tax advantages. These include a 50% reduction on the capital gain inclusion rate, and charitable receipt for the fair market value of the securities.
Gifts of Property
You can donate property such as real estate, works of art, jewelry, rare coins and stamps. These gifts provide tax advantages.
Charitable Remainder Trust
This planned gift can provide a wide range of benefits to you, your loved ones and arthritis research. For example, charitable remainder trusts provide income for life for the donor, and/or another beneficiary.
Matching Gifts
Many employers have matching gift programs, through which your own generosity can be doubled. As a public foundation, the Arthritis Research Centre may be eligible for matching gift programs from corporations, foundations and government.
