Walk10Blocks

Walking a minimum of about 10 city blocks (about 1 km or 0.6 miles) each day could reduce the risk of dementia, and potentially improve cardiovascular and joint health in the long term. People who are sedentary are at greater risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

The Walk10Blocks app is on the Apple ResearchKit platform, designed to motivate and support people to stand up and take a walk.
