Jacquie Simatovic, MA, BHSc

Jacquie is a Research Coordinator for the IMPAKT-HiP Prevalence and Case-Control studies. She has a Master's in Kinesiology, and Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. Her previous research experience includes assisting with a smoking cessation program, working as a cognitive-behavioural interventionist with obese adolescents, and coordinating a longitudinal study of post-menopausal women at risk for osteoarthritis.

Liz Verhoeve, Marketing Consultant

Liz currently runs a marketing consulting business where she develops strategic marketing and communications plans and manages marketing campaigns. She works with each client to provide efficient, effective and results-focused solutions specific to their goals. Prior to starting her business she held positions in both the private and non-profit sectors. Liz's experience includes marketing for high-end real estate developments, Marketing Manager at Canadian Blood Services BC & Yukon and Account Executive with both the Vancouver Courier newspaper and Business in Vancouver.
