On Sunday, May 15, 2011, The Arthritis Society is launching the Walk to Fight Arthritis. Thousands of people across Canada will come together to raise funds for this very important cause. People with arthritis, their family members, friends and co-workers will unite to fight back against the disease that affects their lives and the lives of millions of Canadians every day.

The walk is non-competitive and each location offers 1km and 5km route options allowing participants to choose the distance that is right for them. We are walking in 17 communities and hosting a virtual walk this year. The Walk to Fight Arthritis is a fundraiser, a celebration and a step towards finding a cure for arthritis.
