How would you like to get information about medications?

Volunteers Needed

We are developing a tool to help people with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) make decisions about treatment. In this study, we would like to know your preference on two methods to present information in a decision aid on Methotrexate (a type of drug for treating RA):

• A booklet
• A series of animated stories

You may be eligible to participate if you:

• Have been diagnosed with RA within the last 12 months
• Have been recommended by your doctor to consider using Methotrexate and have never tried it OR are currently on Methotrexate
• Can communicate in English
• Are available for a 2-to-3-hour session
• Are located within the Lower Mainland area and can travel to our testing centre at Arthritis Research Centre of Canada

After reviewing both versions of the decision aid, we will interview you for your opinions. Any information you provide will be completely anonymous.
