Physicians at the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada are seeking volunteers who have been diagnosed with Lupus Arthritis to participate in a clinical research study involving an investigational study drug not yet approved by Health Canada.

Volunteers with Lupus Arthritis who meet criteria for entry into the study, and who consent to participate, will be randomly assigned to receive either active treatment (with an oral study drug) or placebo (an inactive substance) for 12 weeks. Participation in the study would involve 7 visits to the Arthritis Research Centre over a 16-18 week period.
